Social media activist, Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, refused to address the House of Representatives committee probing bribery allegations made by crossdresser, Bobrisky against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service.

He took the stance because Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky failed to honour the invitation the committee gave to him.

After VeryDarkMan refused to speak, he went to sit down.

Committee members were displeased with his decision to snub them and threatened to detain him if he failed to answer questions and formally adopt his claims.

The Chairman told the activist he could not dictate how the proceedings would go or how they should react to Bobrisky’s absence, as that decision lay with the Committee.

“You are not expected to dictate to us whether Bobrisky comes here or not, it is left to us to decide, we can also compel him to come before us we can invoke our powers to arrest him.

“We can compel Bobrisky to appear before us and even arrest him if necessary,” the Chairman stated. “Your allegations have led to the invitation of top government officials, so it’s imperative you speak to these allegations.

“You are here already to testify, I will advise you go ahead, don’t let anyone deceive you. To the lawyer please advise your client.”

VDM took to the podium once again, but still refused to speak. He told the committee that Bobrisky showed lack of regard for them by not showing up and sending his lawyer to represent him.

He said his own lawyer was available to speak on his behalf but he would personally not speak.

He said he would gladly go to detention if they wished to detain him.

“If I speak make I die!” he cursed.
