Nigerian Gospel singer, Ajayi Aduke Morounkola, better known as Aduke Gold is d3ad.
The sad news was broken this morning, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, by a popular gospel singer, Esther Igbekele.
She wrote on her Facebook wall, “A GENERAL HAS FALLEN. ADUKE GOLD #rip”.
She did not disclose the cause of d3ath of the late artiste.
Aduke G0ld, an indigene of Ilesa, Osun State was initially known as Aduke Penkele. She was raised in a polygamous family in Ogba and Badagry areas of Lagos.
Aduke Gold, the 11th child of her late parents, broke into limelight when she put up a spectacular performance at the first remembrance of the late gospel artiste, Baba Ara.
Gold became a professional singer in 2004.
She released a powerful track ‘Nitori Ogo’ in 2021, which also established her as a star in the making.
She was also a child educator with a passion for teaching young children.
Aduke Gold read history and international relations at the Lagos State University.
She then bagged her second degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Lagos.
