One of the twins making up Psquare, Paul Okoye, has announced the separation of the singing duo again..
Paul, also known as Rudeboy, in an interview with City FM Lagos on Thursday, disclosed that his twin brother, Peter wrote a petition against him last December.
It would be recalled that the famous twins first broke up in 2017 and reconciled in 2021.
With the interview granted by Paul on Thursday, the reunion was shortlived.
Rudeboy alleged that Peter, also known as Mr P, went to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to level allegations against him and their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
He said he never it would come to that, as he had thought it was all about music.
He said people were asking him what he did, and they were telling him he would go to jail for 20 years, among other things.
Paul said the EFCC scrutinized his accounts and gave him a clean bill of health.
He said he and his elder brother were summoned to EFCC a month ago where they were all told that they had done their investigations and that he, Paul, was not guilty of the accusation Peter made.
He recalled that his twin brother refused to apologise for the false accusation.
When he was asked if PSquare would continue, Paul said, “No, P-Square is no more.”
He said he was focused on his brand, Rudeboy.
Paul added that his attempts to protect and maintain PSquare were in vain.
