Armed men believed to be kidnappers stormed a church in Asaba, Delta State and abducted a former female commissioner, Ada Anioma Joan Onyemaechi, after k!lling to policemen.
The incident happened this evening, July 30, 2024 at ‘The King Jesus and I Church’, off DBS Road.
The slain policemen were providing security at the church at the time of the incident. They were taken by surprise by the gunmen and did not stand a chance as they were shot at close range.
The Nigerian Tribune reported that the assailants went inside the church to grab the former Commissioner and whisk her away.
The publication further reported that the family of the abducted lady was yet to the conducted at the time of filing the report.
