The news of the death of the controversial Nigerian cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Anuoluwapo Adepoju, has been trending all day on social media.
The unconfirmed reports indicated that the surgeon died following an illness that has taken her out of circulation for weeks.
Dr Anu was the founder of MedContour Services Ltd, which specialises in helping women to get the body shapes they desire through surgical operations.
She has been in the news for carrying out botched Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures on some ladies.
The last time she was in the news was May, 2024 when a court convicted her for conducting failed plastic surgery that resulted in the death of one Nneka Onwuzuligbo in 2020.
Those circulating the news of Dr Anu’s death attached a video of an emaciated woman who bears some resemblance to the controversial doctor.
The woman can be seen seated in what appears to be a hospital.
