The controversial social media activist, Verydarkman has commenced his own protest today, July 28, 2024, not waiting for the August 1 date.
He posted a picture of himself carrying a placard on top of a Sport Utility Vehicle in Abuja and received insults from street rapper, Portable in the comments section.
Nigerian youths are planning to storm the streets beginning on August 1 to protest what they call ‘bad governance’ and the hardship that most families are going through in the country.
However, Verydarkman could not wait for the date and stormed the street with his own protest, calling for an end to bad governance.
The activist carried a placard reading: “Emi lo kan…Is it your turn to suffer us? Mr President, do we even have a future with you??”
He wrote on his page on Instagram, “Emi lo kon is it your turn to suffer us sir? WE DEY STREET LIKE THIS #endbadgovernanceinnigeria.”
Controversial singer, Portable, sighted the post and left negative comments on it.
Recall that Portable had earlier noted that the protest was not for rich people like him and called on those planning it to go and hustle and make money.
He took to VeryDarkMan’s comment section to write:
“Aparo nobody dey your back everybody busy looking for money not cho cho cho. Fight for your self Don’t fight for them. Abiapapepe Agunmaniye”.
