Narrates how he was picked up by police
Controversial activist, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, has explained how he was picked up from his home on Sunday and later released.
News broke yesterday afternoon that the activist was arrested on the orders of Mr Benneth Igwe, the Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
His lawyer, Mr. Deji Adeyanju, revealed that the influencer was apprehended for exposing an individual accused of defrauding a Nigerian living abroad.
The police later said they only invited him to state his side of the story in the accusation of defamation laid against him by a Nigerian.
VeryDarkMan in a video after his release said he was requested to write a statement and he did and supported it with the evidence he had in his possession.
