My brother is not a kidnapper’ – Sister of man accused of attempting to kidnap BBN Daniella in Abuja
The sister of ride-hailing driver, Collins, accused of attempting to kidnap Daniella Peters of Big Brother Naija fame, has debunked the allegations.
The sister, Precious Vince, said Collins and Daniella merely had a disagreement and she jumped out of the vehicle when he failed to stop for her.
Recall that Daniella Peters on Friday alleged that Collins tried to kidnap her after she booked a ride on In-Drive in Abuja.
According to the reality show, she asked the driver to stop her so she would alight because of his state, but he locked the car doors and started speeding. She revealed that she had to force the car open and leave it that way until she could jump out.
Daniella wrote:
“I booked an inDrive @indrive.ng ride in Abuja this morning literally like An 1 hour ago.
And I honestly was almost kidnapped I had to jump out of the car. I asked the driver to stop and drop me almost immediately the ride started because of his state it seemed extremely suspicious and made me very uncomfortable he then locked the doors and started speeding, I opened the car manually and left the door wide open until I could jump out. I jumped out and he continued driving off
Please help me repost until I get justice !!! I am not okay”
In response to the rash of reports carried by media platforms on the issue, Precious Vince wrote:
“Guys please o. COLLINS IS NOT A KIDNAPPER. OUR PARENTS ARE LATE. I HAVE BEEN THE ONE TAKING CARE OF THE 2 THEY LEFT ME OVER 10yrs now. I WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE DEFAME MY BROTHER. NEVER. HELP HOWEVER YOU CAN. I DONT KNOW ANYONE AND I AM NOT IN THE COUNTRY CURRENTLY”
She counter-accused Daniella of defaming her brother. She insisted that what happened was a disagreement that she ought to have taken to the police and not social media.
In an update later on Friday, she wrote:
“Update guys! So earlier today in the afternoon I asked my brother to go make a complaint at the police station which he did. They called @DaniellaUPeters and she said she is not available to talk till Monday. My brother left. Only for the police station to call him this evening that he should come because her parents are at the station. I asked my brother to go with his lawyer which he did. I have been trying to communicate with him to no avail. Only for his friend to reach out to me saying HE HAS BEEN DETAINED! That the DPO of Police sign post to came out and said they should detain him and left. Please I don’t have anyone but I want to know on what grounds he was detained because this looks like they already made a decision before he came cos they know somebody? because they know people? He reported for her to be invited and questioned and they didn’t even do the needful and detained him? I can’t breathe! GOD!!!!!”
