Woman finds his old schoolmate emaciated, homeless and dirty, transforms his life in one year
A woman has warmed hearts after she shared the story of his encounter with her old schoolmate who fell on bad times and became homeless.
Lolabunni42 shared the story with lots of pictures on her TikTok page with that name.
Lola disclosed that the man was her high school friend and they lost contact after school only for her to find him decades later living on the street, looking dirty, unkempt, and disoriented.
The first set of pictures Lola shared showed the man at his lowest point. She bought food for him and later returned to give him clothes and then took him to church to get him baptized.
She also put him in a rehabilitation centre as it appeared an addiction got him into the horrible state he found himself in.
Lola shared more pictures capturing his progress one month, two months, and up to 12 months after she intervened in his life.
The man went from being dirty, emaciated and disgusting to looking well-fed and well-dressed in shirts and ties.
The transformation is unbelievable as the man in the last picture looks really handsome and healthy.
Unfortunately, the man passed away not long after she put his life back on track.
When a viewer of the post disclosed the death of the man on the thread, Lolabunni42 confirmed it.
She wrote: “Yes, he passed away. I just wanted to share his story of not giving up, hoping it reaches and touches everyone. God bless you.”
