Passengers reportedly flung into lagoon as bus crashes on Third Mainland Bridge (Video)

Local divers are currently combing the lagoon following reports that two passengers were flung into the murky water when a commercial vehicle (Danfo) they were travelling in had an accident on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, today, Wednesday.

The bus was stopped from plunging into the water below by the concrete embarkement and iron railings.

A video posted by an X user named Kamsi said a female passenger was flung into the lagoon by the impact of the accident.

Another X user, Nifemi Oguntoye, wrote: “The Federal Road Safety Corps has now employed local divers to search for two persons, male and female, still under the water.”
