Singer, Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, better known as Portable has landed in a hospital again days after he was attacked in Lagos for allegedly failing to meet contractual terms.
Portable was taken to the hospital after the assault and was discharged. He later posted a video announcing that he had been discharged. He gave a full account of what led to the assault and how he managed to defend himself.
However, a couple of hours ago today, Friday, January 26, 2024, Portable posted a video of himself lying on a hospital bed on his Instagram story.
He complained that he had not been fully well since he was assaulted by the men. He wondered why no one was fighting for him or if they were waiting for him to die before they would start seeking justice for him.
Portable wrote that he was in so much pain and did not want to die young.
“Feeling so much pain right now, just your prayer. I don’t want to die young. Why them want make I fail. If you spoil me for who love me, you go die young. Surrounded by haters, no one to cover me, only God.
“Didn’t get myself right since I was beaten by those guys from one pain to another just being strong for myself and lover. Pray for me may God heal me totally,” he wrote.
Portable and some men had a fight on January 21 after he allegedly refused to refund N3.5m for a music collaboration.
He was paid for the collaboration last year but the collaboration did not take place until this year when the men called him to come to location.
He reportedly told them his price had changed in the New Year and they had to give him extra N1 million naira.
The men sent him the money and waited for him to be done with the job before asking him to refund their money.
Portable refused and a fight ensued, wherein he reportedly sustained some injury.
