Man reportedly escapes from kidnappers who abducted 5 of his brothers while traveling to Kogi State (video)

A man, Daniel Yunusa, has taken to social media to announce that he escaped from kidnappers who waylaid him and his brothers as they were travelling to Kogi State on Sunday, January 21.

In a video that has gone viral, Daniel claimed he was travelling with five of his brothers and friends when they were attacked by the kidnappers who whisked them into the bush.

Daniel claimed he escaped and ran somewhere in the bush and was able to make a video.

In one of the videos shared, Daniel called on Nigerians to help him as he did not know exactly where he was or how he could get back to safety.

Many of his followers doubted his story because he is known for joking around on his Tiktok pages. But he has since posted a video of himself showing his bullet-riddled call to a batch of soldiers that apparently responded to his distress call.

He asked Nigerians not to travel by road again and also called for help to rescue his brothers who he says are still with the kidnappers.
