A heart-melting video is trending showing the moment a young man, identified as Adedayo on TikTok, proposed to the love of his life in church after crossing over into 2024.
Just moments after shouting ‘Happy New Year’ in church, the young man went down on his knees to propose to his girlfriend who apparently was not expecting it at that moment.
In the video shared, the lady’s face registered surprise and she stood up in shock when she understood what was happening.
Congregants whose attention was drawn to the scene screamed in excitement and urged her to say yes.
It ended well as the lady accepted the man’s marriage proposal and the two embraced.
