The Nigerian Bar Association has announced the commencement of a probe into the viral video of a lawyer assaulting his wife in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
In a statement, the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Akorede Habeeb Lawal says the lawyer has been identified as Ekere S. Ebong. He added that the President of the NBA, Yakubu Maikyau, has ordered the Uyo branch of the association to investigate the incident as a way of establishing a case of professional misconduct against the lawyer.
