A Nigerian lady has claimed that many Nigerians who are currently residing in Canada are thinking of an exit strategy from the North American country.
In a post shared on X, the lady said Canada is no longer as it was when she moved there in 2019. She said they already take less money from their pay every month and that from January 2024, the money will be less.
Bibi Babatunde-Ikotun wrote:
“A lot of people that I know are already thinking of an exit strategy from Canada. This is not the country I knew when I first moved in 2019. We already take less money home from our pay, from January we’ll be taking lesser home. God have mercy.”
Someone responded to the tweet confirming the sentiment. She said she knew of someone making plans to relocate to the UK from Canada. She called it ‘re-japa’.
