Wild reactions trail Bishop Oyedepo’s new Winners Chapel auditorium under construction (Video)
The new Winners’ Chapel Auditorium under construction is generating a lot of discussion online.
The founder of the church, Bishop David Oyedepo, trended for hours on Thursday and the better part of Friday following the release of pictures and videos from the building site.
The 100,000-capacity worship auditorium is called “The Ark” and is really massive.
The stadium-like auditorium was designed by students and graduates of the Covenant University, owned by the church.
It will replace the 50,000 capacity Faith Tabernacle currently being used in Ota, Ogun State.
Many netizens wonder where Nigerian churches get such money to build gigantic edifices, and some criticized Bishop Oyedepo for building an auditorium instead of a factory.
