Man accuses his ex-wife of seizing his ‘manpower’ after he divorced her
A Zimbabwean, Nison Marweyi, has dragged his ex-wife, Marrian Shereni, before the traditional court, accusing her of seizing his manhood since he divorced her.
Marweyi said he had not been able to have sexual relations with another woman since he divorced Shereni.
He accused her of casting a spell on him not to be able to rise to the occasion when he gets into the bedroom with another woman, as a way of forcing him to take her back into his home.
He claimed that in the last seven years, he had not been able to sleep with any woman, as his manhood either shrank or disappeared anytime he got n@ked with a woman.
Marweyi, who resides in Ngorima Village under Chief Ngorima, said he divorced Shereni due to her promiscuity.
He told the Acting Chief Saurombe that his ex-wife, with whom he shares an eight-year-old child, was practising witchcraft on him.
He alleged that he had sought the help of spiritual healers, who informed him that Shereni was behind his woes.
Marweyi claimed that the healers advised him to reconcile with Shereni in order to regain his manhood. Marweyi vowed he would never take Shereni back.
Marweyi appeals to anyone who can break the curse and restore his dignity.
When summoned, Shereni disputed all the allegations, asserting that Marweyi had a history of erectile dysfunction even during their marriage.
She claimed that his problems in the bedroom led to difficulties in conceiving their child. Shereni submitted that the accusations were an attempt to tarnish her image as she is now happily married to another man.
Acting Chief Saurombe adjourned the matter to a later date to allow the couple to consult spiritual healers together.
