Video emerges showing Mohbad crying that he was given something to drink while with NDLEA
A video has emerged showing Mohbad crying on a hospital bed that he was given something to drink while with the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The video was uploaded by a microblogging site, Gistlovers.
The video shows Mohbad lying on his back and crying while some people believed to be his family and friends are consoling him.
He said the substance was in bottled water and he was the only one asked to drink it, while he was not the only one arrested.
He claimed that when the NDLEA officials arrived, he was trying to protect another singer, Zinoleesky, without knowing that Zinoleesky was among those who snitched on him.
It is being speculated that the arrest was instigated by Naira Marley, who is an ambassador of the NDLEA. However, there is no evidence to back this up.
