U.S. rapper 50cent reportedly faces battery case after thrõwing his microphone into audience striking a fan (Video)
48-year-old rapper Curtis Jackson popularly known as 50 Cent threw a microphone into the crowd twice during a performance on Wednesday, striking a fan in the head.
The rapper is now a suspect in a battery case.
In a video trending online, the artiste hurled his microphone with force offstage when the item wasn’t working.
At first, he was handed a microphone that didn’t work and he was seen dropping it down impatiently on the side of the stage.
He was later given another mic that was also facing technical issues, prompting him to hurl the item away, hitting the fan on the head.
It is reported that as a result of his act, the fan was left with ‘lacerations’.
According to TMZ, the victim suffered a bloody gash on her forehead and was taken to hospital over the injury.
She allegedly filed a police report after the incident, naming the musician in the paperwork.
