A Congolese man named Luwizo has made history by tying the knot with three sisters in an elaborate white wedding.
Luwizo reportedly met one of the triplets and fell in love with her.
The sisters who have always done everything together all their lives were said to have been petrified that a man was coming to break them apart.
When one of the sisters brought home Luwizo, the other two girls thought he was likeable.
When he was gone, one of them suggested the possibility of the other two joining the relationship.
It was first an odd idea but as they thought more about it over the next few days, they started warming up to the idea.
The attraction of the idea to the three ladies was that marriage would not tear them apart after all, as they would be under the same roof.
Once the girls bought the idea, the next hurdle was to sell it to Luwizo.
He was said to have first resisted principally on the basis of what people would say, but later turned around to embrace the idea.
Their wedding was the talk of the town, complete with a beautiful bridal train.
