“We met only three months ago”- Lady embarrasses boyfriend who proposed to her in church (Video)
What was meant to be a beautiful moment for a couple turned out to be a nightmare they would love to forget after a badly thought-out marriage proposal in church.
It was the lady’s birthday, and her boyfriend had it all planned. He had arranged balloons and a cake and had purchased a ring to engage his lover in front of church members.
The lady was very happy with the surprise cake and this showed on her face as she beamed from ear to ear.
However, the second surprise of the young man kneeling down and thrusting a ring towards her was not welcomed.
She quickly rushes to the young man to get him to stand up, saying they had only just met and could not possibly be talking about engagement three months into their coming together.
The man persists, hoping to get her to change her mind, as the church members cheer them on.
This infuriates the lady who lashes out at the man, first hitting him on the chest and then in the face. She throws away the cake which struck the lover boy.
Elderly church members step in to stop any further assault.
The lady can be seen explaining to church members that they had just recently met and that the man just wanted to embarrass her.
Most of the online reactions are, however, against the lady. Many argued she could have handled it better.
