Those openly expressing doubts about the veracity of the allegations made against Olanrewaju Omiyinka alias Baba Ijesa by Princess may have caused the embattled actor more embarrassment as the Princess just released a clip of Baba Ijesa admitting doing wrong and begging for forgiveness.
In the clip, Baba Ijesa, sitting on the floor in what appears to be Princess’ apartment can be seen answering questions from many interrogators including Princess.
He can be heard saying, “I know I did wrong. Please forgive me. Don’t consider me, but consider God.”
MSN also learnt that a band of well-wishers followed Princess to the police station at Panti where the embattled Baba Ijesa is currently being detained.
The move followed reports that the police was planning to release the accused actor on account of the strike action by judicial workers that had ensured that that the courts could not sit.
A senior police officer was also said to have suggested that that the evidence against the actor could not support defilement but inappropriate conduct and as such the suspect could not be held for too long.
Many people have reacted to the news with anger. Prominent among them are actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, both of who promised to escalate the matter to higher authorities should Baba Ijesa be released.
