Man accused of sleeping with another man’s wife climbs storey building to evade arrest in PH

A trending video has shown the moment a young man trying to avoid police arrest attempted to climb up a three-storey shopping mall with his bare hands.

The man who successfully climbed the first storey could not proceed as a policeman was waiting for him on the verandah of the second storey with a stick.

The video shows him hanging from the railings as he is being flogged from the top and below by two policemen.

Someone believed to be a good Samaritan can be seen stopping one of the policemen from flogging the suspect and trying to convince him to give up his attempt to escape.

Onlookers gathered with their phones to capture the unfolding drama.

The information uploaded with the clip indicates that the man was wanted by the police in connection with an allegation of having an affair with a married woman and he was traced to a shopping mall.

He was said to have taken to his heels when confronted by the police.
