Bandits release fresh video of the abducted students of Forestry School Afake, Kaduna State.
The clip showed the unkempt students looking frightened and emaciated.
They were asked by their captors to step forward one by one, kneel before the camera and plead for their parents to pay the demanded ransom in order for them to come out of captivity.
Some spoke in Hausa while some spoke in English. One of the students said many of them are sick and have no access to any medical treatment.
It is 36 days since they were abducted from their school hostels by bandits.
Governor Nasir el-Rufai has vowed not to negotiate with any bandit.
Incidentally, an old video has surfaced showing him criticising the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan for failing to explore all avenues, including dialogue to free Chibok girls.
The interviewer pointedly asked him if he thought the government should consider negotiation, he answered that negotiation should be consider to free the girls.
He opined that the reason government was not concerned was because the officials did not have any child among the abducted children.
