A man has found out that his money saved in a metal piggy bank has been damaged beyond redemption.
The man took his piggy bank to his bank to cut following the Federal Government’s introduction of new Naira notes.
However, when the metal box was cut open, the man found to his chagrin that all the notes therein had been damaged beyond redemption.
There are heaps of mutilated and disfigured Naira notes.
In a video of the incident that is currently trending, bank officials can be seen examining the cash and making comments.
One can be heard saying that the cash was damaged by the rusty piggy bank, while another opines that the money must have been stored for at least three years.
