Four people have lost their lives on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when a trailer collided with an SUV on the Ibadan-bound part of the busy road.
The accident happened on Wednesday morning between Warewa and Arepo Bus Stops, in front of YTK Petroleum filling station.
Five people were injured and taken to the hospital.
The trailer was said to be going to Sagamu, Ogun State when it rammed into the rear of a Lexus SUV, which in turn, cleared some commercial motorcyclists and their passengers taking one-way to Lagos.
The accident caused some traffic gridlock before the wreckage was cleared off the road by a combined team of police and other agencies.
