UI lecturer debunks reports he gave $100 to students who attended his first class after ASUU strike

A lecturer at the University of Ibadan has denied giving $100 each to the 10 students that attended his first class.

A certain Twitter user with the handle Peter_Pentane had tweeted that the lecturer found only 10 students in his first class after the long ASUU strike and gave them each $100.

The lecturer has now reacted on Twitter.

“This is not in any way true,” Bisi Olawuyi tweeted in reaction to the claim.
