Some officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) found themselves in an embarrassing situation recently when they were involved in an accident while driving against traffic in Ikeja, Lagos.
Interestingly, the truck belongs to the LASTMA Anti-One-Way squad that impounds vehicles of motorists driving against traffic.
The driver apparently lost control while driving at top speed and collided with a staff bus moving on the right way.
One of the passengers on the staff bus recorded the scene. She complained that the LASTMA vehicle violated traffic rule and crashed against their bus damaging the front and radiator.
Thankfully, no life was lost.
