There was pandemonium around the Opic portion of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Friday afternoon after a police officer allegedly shot a motorcyclist.
Information released by Eons Intelligence on Twitter indicated that trouble started when a policeman attached to a construction company in the area shot an okada rider.
Fellow okada riders and street urchins reportedly attempted to avenge the wrong done to the injured man. The situation reportedly degenerated into chaos with commuters scampering out of the area for their safety.

Road users however said the situation was resolved quickly and normalcy has fully returned to the area.
