They analysed the calls and were able to track down Abdul Shaibu from Okpachala, Kogi State.
The victim’s phone was found with him
He reportedly admitted the crime and led policemen to Lokoja in Kogi State where one Musa Araba “m” aged 40 years and Ugbede Abdul “m” aged 38 years were arrested.
They all reportedly confessed independently to have taken part in the kidnap saga while ransom was collected.
They further narrated that the said Abdul Shaibu “m” who also opened up to have worked as a labourer under the victim suggested the killing of the victim.
They later slaughtered the victim because Shaibu was afraid he would implicate him if released.
