A man has been captured snatching a box of cash from the counter of a shop in the United States of America.
The man in dreads, wearing a Nike hooded top, can be seen in the footage pretending to be looking for loose change to put in the transparent box that is more than half-filled with money.
The security man is seen discussing with a man in a corner, not paying attention to the man at the counter.
The man brings out some cash, puts it into the box, and suddenly snatches the box and takes off through the open entrance door, as the shop attendants raise an alarm.
The security man realises what is happening and runs after the thief. It is not clear if the thief made good his escape.
