A video has emerged showing the moment a shoplifter was left stranded by her partner in crime when she saw a police patrol coming towards them at a shopping mall.
The two women had just stolen a bunch of clothes from a retailer at a shopping mall in the United States and had made it to their getaway car when they sighted a police patrol car coming in their direction.
One of the two shoplifters jumped in the driver seat, and forgetting that the car doors were centrally locked, waited for a split second and zoomed off when her partner would not enter.
The abandoned shoplifter dropped the stolen clothes and ran after the car.
A policeman got off the patrol car and gave the running shoplifter a chase and arrested her.
