A neighbourhood thief ran out of luck recently when he was allegedly caught raping a woman in Ikorodu.
The incident reportedly happened at Irawo Bus Stop, Ikorodu, Lagos early in the morning of Tuesday April 19.
Nemesis caught up with thief after the screams of a lady he was allegedly molesting attracted boys in the neighbourhood.
When he was apprehended, some victims allegedly recognized him as the person that snatched their phones a few days back.
He was said to have been responsible for two of the five phones stolen from the Bus Stop in the previous week. He had already taken one of the phones to Osodi to be sold.
He was beaten till his eyes and lips were swollen.
When the boys were done dealing with him, they offered him sachet Seaman gin to cool down. His reluctance to accept the offer earned him a series of slaps and he hurriedly accepted it and used his teeth to cut it.
They asked him to sit on a table for displaying ware in front of a shop, while they awaited the police, who later arrived to take the suspect away.
