A video clip is currently making the rounds on social media, showing the moment a pastor preaching about death slumped and died.
The pastor was preaching in Yoruba and had an interpreter beside him to interpret what he was saying in English.
He said: “Ola t’o paniyan le lori, t’o mu eje le lori, nigbati iku ba de, o di kinni? O di ti eni eleni.” (The riches you kill human beings for, or drink blood for, when death comes, it becomes what? It becomes the property of someone else.)
Just after delivering that statement and returning to his opened Bible on the Pulpit, the man identified as Baba Bale by a Facebook user, leaned towards his left where his interpreter was staying and slumped before the interpreter knew what was happening.
Commotion and screams of women in the congregation could be heard in the background as other ministers sitting behind the pastor rushed toward him.
A Facebook user, Bukola Olaniyan posted a tribute thus: “Baba Bale, rest on, sir. You have fought, you have won. You have conquered. May the Lord comfort the family you left behind”.
