A multiple-vehicle collision on the Long Bridge inward Lagos on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway this morning caused a traffic snarl on the busy road for some hours.
The cause of the accident is not known, but it involved up to six different vehicles, including commercial and private vehicles, including at least two Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV).
Some motorists who got forewarning of the accident took to one-way driving to avoid the resultant traffic.
However, relevant authorities quickly mobilised resources to clear the affected vehicles off the road.
