A video clip is trending, showing a woman crying uncontrollably after suspected fraudsters made away with her earned money.
It was gathered that the lady wanted to use the ATM but was unsuccessful.
Minutes later, she started receiving alerts until N243,000 Naira her husband gave to her for shop rent was stolen from the account.
The circumstances surrounding the security breach of her account is not clear, but some of the sympathisers could be heard saying that someone might have spied on her PIN when she was using the ATM, or her card was swapped smartly by another ATM user while she was there.
Sympathisers who looked into the debits alerts said the debits were done via POS machines.
Unfortunately, because it happened on a Saturday, the security men at the branch where she attempted to make withdrawal unsuccessfully asked her to go home and return on Monday.
The woman refused to go and can be seen wailing by the shut gate of the bank.
Speaking in Igbo, she kept lamenting that her husband just managed to scrape the money together for her to rent a shop.
