‘MC Oluomo is the only married man I slept with, and he is a Muslim’- Ehi Ogbebor

Prominent interior designer Ehi Ogbebor has directly addressed long-standing public perceptions regarding her personal life, denying claims that she habituates in dating or “snatching” married men.
Speaking in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Ogbebor clarified her past relationship with former National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) executive Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo.
She emphasised that he remains the only married partner she has ever dated, noting that his Islamic faith—which permits polygamy—influenced her decision at the time.
Clarifying public perception
Addressing widespread online speculation, Ogbebor challenged critics to produce evidence of her interfering in any marriage.
She maintained that she remains self-sufficient and prioritises her peace of mind regardless of public opinion.
“MC Oluomo is one of my best friends,” she stated, adding that contrary to popular belief, no woman can validly claim her husband was taken from her.
Reflections on past marriages
The mother of three also shared harrowing details about her marital history, revealing she first married at 18.
She described escaping her first union due to domestic violence, financial control, and what she characterised as her ex-husband’s involvement in occult practices.
Recounting instances of severe physical assault—including being beaten while pregnant—Ogbebor noted that neither personal success nor financial independence could salvage her past relationships.
Despite her experiences, she expressed confidence in her current path, stating that she funds her own lifestyle and focuses entirely on her personal happiness.
