Police declare two wanted
The family of Chukwunyere Esther Chinaza, a 26-year-old Dubai-based beauty entrepreneur, has expressed deep distress over her continued disappearance following her return to Lagos.
Chinaza flew into Lagos and is believed to have been lured to Banana Island, Lagos and has not been seen ever since.
Authorities have launched a formal investigation into allegations of conspiracy, robbery, and murder surrounding her missing person report.
According to a Special Police Gazette Bulletin issued by the Nigeria Police Force, Chinaza was last seen in the Ikate area of Lagos shortly after arriving from Dubai with a male acquaintance.

Last known address: Horizon Estate, Ikate, Lagos State.
Disappearance date: June 22, 2026.

Police declaration and wanted suspects
The Nigeria Police Force has declared two male suspects wanted in connection with the alleged conspiracy, attack, and theft.
Ajibola Obateru: A 33-year-old Yoruba man, approximately 5’9″ tall, thin build, fair-skinned with an oval face. His last known address is listed as Ajoda New Town, Ibadan, Oyo State. Police allege he conspired with others to attack Chinaza, stole her personal belongings, and moved her body.
Folawiyo Balogun Alagbado: Named in a separate official bulletin. Police allege he conspired to assault and kill Chinaza, relocate her body to an undisclosed location, and take her property.
Family demands swift investigation
Speaking on behalf of the family, Chinaza’s brother voiced grave concern regarding the progress of the investigation and the lack of clarity surrounding her condition. He emphasised that the family remains unable to confirm whether she is dead or alive.

The family noted that one individual linked to the incident previously presented himself at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti.
However, they expressed dissatisfaction with the conflicting explanations provided and called on law enforcement to intensify efforts to locate Chinaza and apprehend the wanted suspects.
