‘She’s been sent back to Nigeria’ – UK-based man who accused his wife of cheating announces

A Nigerian man identified as Ugo has become a major talking point on the social media platform X after announcing that his estranged wife has officially returned to her family home in Lagos following the collapse of their marriage.
The man claimed that his wife found herself in her father’s house in Lagos after her plot to orchestrate his deportation by accusing him of domestic violence failed and was found to be false by the Home Office.
The story began trending after a series of emotional posts, and tweets surfaced online detailing allegations of infidelity, financial disputes, and immigration-related accusations involving the couple.
The estranged husband claimed he sponsored his wife’s relocation to the United Kingdom, paid her tuition fees, and supported her financially before discovering she was allegedly involved in an affair.
In one of his latest updates circulating online, Ugo reportedly stated that the divorce had been finalised and insisted that people should stop referring to the woman as his wife.
“She’s in Lagos in her father’s house,” he said in a post that has since generated massive reactions online.
The phrase “Congratulations, Ugo” soon began trending across Nigerian social media spaces, with many users reacting to the drama and expressing support for him following the breakup.
When an X user asked Ugo if she took with her any of his belongings, he responded that they signed a prenup before they married.
As discussions continue online, neither the ex-wife nor her family has publicly issued a detailed response to the latest claims made by Ugo.
