The management of Confluence University of Science and Technology has expelled four students over various misconducts, including alleged lesbianism, physical assault, and cyber fraud.
The institution, popularly known as CUSTECH, disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday, saying the disciplinary action was approved during the university Senate’s 30th Regular Meeting held on April 29, 2026.
According to the statement, two 200-level female students were expelled over alleged involvement in lesbianism.
The university also expelled two other students over offences bordering on physical assault, stabbing, and cloning of fellow students’ pictures.
In a related development, another student was reportedly rusticated for one academic session over involvement in fighting and physical assault.
The Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs, Mr Eli Usman Gbadafu, said the disciplinary measures take immediate effect.
Reacting to the development, the Vice-Chancellor, Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, commended the Students’ Disciplinary Committee for what he described as a diligent investigation process.
He added that the institution remains committed to maintaining discipline and upholding its rules and regulations while training students “in character and learning.”
