Young woman takes microphone to accuse pastor of sexual molestation at LAUTECH (Video)

A pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, identified as Tayo Sobowale, was publicly accused of attempted sexual assault by a young woman during a church gathering at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
The incident, captured in a now-circulating video, reportedly occurred while the pastor was addressing a congregation during a programme on campus.
The woman approached the microphone and alleged that Sobowale had previously acted inappropriately toward her.
In her account, she claimed the pastor once asked her to purchase food for him and insisted on waiting until she was available to deliver it.
She said that when she eventually took the meal to him at a location referred to as the “Upper Room,” he allegedly made unwanted advances.
According to her, she resisted the advances and repeatedly declined his actions. She further alleged that he made additional inappropriate requests during the encounter.
The woman directly confronted the pastor during the service, repeatedly asking if he could recall the incident and challenging him to deny her claims if they were untrue. Her remarks reportedly left members of the congregation shocked.
Following the accusation, the pastor took the microphone and began to respond, asking if he could ask her a question.
The video, however, ended before he could ask the question.
Prior to the emergence of the footage, allegations had also surfaced on social media, where some users accused the pastor of similar misconduct involving multiple individuals.
One user claimed that several women had made accusations against him, although these claims remain unverified.
One lady named Tobi, accused the cleric of raping her and leaked was she alleged was a text message exchange between him and her.
In the text, she alleged that the pastor took advantage of her, by having his way with her. The response below the lengthy text, read, “Good afternoon, Tobi, I want to say that I appreciate you reaching out to vent how you feel. AND AM SO SORRY ABOUT ALL YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH. How is Anita? Joor mabinu.(Please, don’t be angry). The response was purportedly by Pastor Tayo Sobowale.
As of the time of reporting, there has been no official statement from the church or the pastor addressing the allegations.
