A young Nigerian lady has shared a frightening account of how armed bandits attacked a commercial bus travelling from Lagos to the Eastern part of the country, firing multiple shots at the vehicle in the middle of the night.

In a now-viral TikTok video posted by @luxury Dubi’s fram, the lady explained that the attackers repeatedly targeted the front of the bus, apparently aiming to kill the driver and force the vehicle to stop.

According to her, the experience felt like a near-death moment.

In her words:

“They wanted to shoot our driver… Who says El-Roi is not at work? They almost kidnapped us last night. Please, guys, be safe out there. If you’re planning to come back for Christmas, I advise you not to—except you’re going by plane.”

She narrated that bullets hit the bus several times, shattering parts of the front section as the armed men attempted to halt their movement.

Despite the chaos, the driver showed extraordinary bravery and continued speeding forward even as gunshots broke windows and tore into the vehicle.

Thankfully, he managed to navigate out of the ambush, and all passengers survived the horrifying encounter.

The video has sparked widespread concern, with many Nigerians expressing fear over the rising insecurity on highways.

One viewer commented:

“This is scary… Nigeria is turning into something else overnight.”
