A cunning, self-professed pastor, Luke Eze, has allegedly succeeded in raping two sisters in one single day in Enugu.
Eze, 63, was arrested on September 11, 2025, after he allegedly abused the trust the teenagers had in him to violate them.
According to the spokesperson of the Enugu State Police Command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, Eze first invited the younger of the two sisters for a deliverance session.
During the session, he allegedly gave the girl an empty mortar to pound for some time.
After the 16-year-old had been wearied by the task, Eze allegedly gave her a liquid substance in a PET bottle to drink.
After the teenager drank it, she fell into a deep sleep during which time Eze sexually violated her.

When the teenager did not return on time, her older sister, 19, went to the suspect’s City of Hope Ministry, a.k.a. “Ọkụ Night,” at Okunito-Amansiodo in the Oghe community of Ezeagu LGA.
She met the cleric, who assured her that nothing was wrong with her sister. He then managed to convince her to also go through the same “deliverance session”.
Eze administered the same stupefying substance on the older sibling, and she also slept, giving him a chance to rape her as well.
The two young women reportedly did not wake up until the following afternoon, September 8.
The moment they regained consciousness, they realised they were naked and their lady parts were sore and blood-stained.
They went home to report the incident to their parents, who immediately lodged a complaint at the Iwollo Police Division of the Enugu Command.
Operatives from the station went to Eze’s church, where they apprehended him.
They also reportedly recovered two plastic bottles containing the unidentified substance the cleric gave to the girls to drink.
The police said the contents of the two bottles would be subjected to forensic analysis. The suspect allegedly confessed to the crimes, blaming them on the devil.
His prosecution has commenced with a formal arraignment in court following the conclusion of investigations by the Gender and Anti-Human Trafficking Section of the Command’s State CID.
The suspect was remanded in correctional custody, awaiting a full trial.
Enugu Police Commissioner, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, has called on parents to beware of criminal elements masquerading as spiritual leaders.
He vowed that Eze would be tried and would face the wrath of the law once he was proven guilty.
