A middle-aged man, identified as Segun Adelere, was discovered dead inside his parked vehicle in the New Garage area along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
According to reports, passersby noticed the man struggling to breathe inside his Cherry car (registration number LND 483 FV) parked near the NGAB filling station.
Members of the local transport union were alerted, but Adelere reportedly passed away before help could reach him.
All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Joe Igbokwe shared the tragic incident via Facebook, stating that the man’s remains had been moved to Divine Hospital Mortuary, where an autopsy will be conducted.
