A video of popular actress Ada Ameh eating before she reportedly slumped and died has been shared online. The beloved star, famous for her role as “Emu” in the hit family sitcom The Johnsons, passed away at 48 years old.
The video shared online on Sunday, July 17, 2022, had a timestamp of 12:53 pm.
Ameh was a guest of an oil company’s top shot and his family in Delta State when she suddenly slumped during a gathering. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was confirmed dead.
Her sudden demise followed a prolonged, silent battle with deep grief and depression. Prior to losing her only child in October 2020, the actress had suffered the tragic loss of her father and six siblings over the years. In June 2022, she publicly stated that the accumulated trauma had triggered severe mental illness.
