Ghanaian man arrested for smearing lady’s face with poo in New York subway station (Video)

A Ghanaian man has been arrested after CCTV captured him rubbing poo on the face of a 43-year-old woman seated on a bench at a subway station in the Wakefield section of the Bronx, New York City, United States of America.

According to the police the incident happened last week on the platform of the southbound East 241 Street subway station.

The CCTV footage showed the man walking casually towards the woman and springing a surprise on her by rubbing the poo in a nylon bag on her head.

Police later announced that 37-year-old Frank Abrokwa was arrested on Monday night.

The suspect is being charged with forcible touching, menacing, disorderly conduct and harassment.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority released a statement saying, “The video speaks for itself and must have been as awful to experience as it is disgusting to watch. We appreciate the NYPD’s excellent detective work leading to a rapid arrest of the suspect. It’s another example of why we fully support efforts by the governor and mayor to deliver essential mental health services to those who need them.”
