BBNaija stars Maria Chike and Ike clashed on X on September 18, after Maria taunted Ike over Mercy Eke getting for the finals of the ongoing Big Brother Naija All Stars reality show.

Ike who was a housemate on the show, had said he would work towards Mercy not getting to the finals.

However, on Monday, Mercy was announced as a finalist on the show after getting the least number of nominations. Maria thereafter, took to her X handle to taunt Ike with Mercy’s success, and Ike immediately fired back calling her a “low-budget clown.”

Two housemates in the ongoing Big Brother Naija All Stars edition, Ike and Seyi Awolowo have been evicted.

Both were evicted during the live eviction show on Sunday, September 3.

Ike was first to go. Then, Seyi’s name was called by the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, to a wild applause and ovation by the audience who apparently thought it was long overdue.

Seyi has consistently been in the bottom three every week. For two weeks in a row, he recorded the least votes. However, he was saved on both occasions by the jury.

The jury arrangement was scrapped last week.

Seyi and Ike were both nominated alongside Adekunle, Angel, and Pere by other housemates last Monday.

Also, House Guests, Lucy and Prince Nelson, were evicted from the show.

There was drama on Thursday night during the pool party of the ongoing Big Brother Naija All Stars Edition when a housemate, Alex frantically attacked a male counterpart, Ike inside the swimming pool.

The exact cause of the action was not known, but the camera caught Alex, who was being carried by Ike, lashing out rapidly, striking Ike on the head and face.

Other housemates moved closer to mediate and the situation was quickly calmed.

Ike subsequently withdrew from the pool and went to his bed to cry under the duvet, with fellow housemates gathering around him to pet him.

Alex also joined in and climbed on the bed with him, covering them both with the duvet, as they talked out their differences.

Alex can be heard telling fellow housemates that Ike was becoming too rough for her and that she felt he was trying to drown her.

Another housemate, Seyi, said it was not right for Alex to say that and urged her to rephrase the sentence. At that, Alex said she felt like she was going to drown, and that her swimming trunk slipped at the breast region, exposing one of her breasts.

She said she never liked that, and that she had previously warned Ike about being too rough with other female housemates inside the pool.

She said she least expected that he would extend the same treatment to her.
