A neighbour’s CCTV has established the moment a 24-year-old man, who identified himself as Okoli Chinecherem, lured away and allegedly defiled a five-year-old girl sent on an errand.
The incident was posted on X by @Pep_Boxx, who did not specify the specific location.
The mother of the victim reportedly noticed she was walking strangely and asked her what happened to her.
Her narration was unbelievable to her parents and they approached a neighbour who had a CCTV system with surveillance cameras mounted around the house to see if any of the cameras picked something.
Luckily for them, one of the cameras captured the incident.
From reviewing the footage, they were able to see the moment the little girl was lured into a bush by the suspect.
He was promptly apprehended and interrogated by community members.
