Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has surrendered himself to the Police.
Portable who was declared wanted by the police on Monday, surrendered himself today, Wednesday 19 February, 2025 to the police at the SCID, in Panti, Yaba.
He is now being moved to Ogun State where he will be handed over to the police there.
Portable had tried to evade arrest, claiming on Tuesday that he was a “madman” receiving treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta.
He begged Nigerians to appeal to the Ogun State Government on his behalf following the police’s declaration of him as a wanted individual.
The singer is accused of assaulting three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office.
