Nigerian social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has dismissed claims by On-Air-Personality Chinedu Ani better known as Nedu that he voluntarily resigned from “The Honest Bunch Podcast”.
VeryDarkMan is claiming that did not resign but was sacked.
The controversial activist posted a video where he insisted that Nedu’s exit was not by choice.
Recall that Nedu recently released an official statement announcing his decision to step away from the podcast.
VeryDarkMan had alleged that Nedu exploited his platform and comedy skits to seek intimate relationships from women in exchange for fame.
Nedu had said while resigning that the recent controversies had taken a personal toll on him and his family.
He wrote:
“The past week has brought a lot into perspective for me. Hosting The Honest Bunch Podcast has been an incredible journey—one built on open conversations, bold perspectives, and the willingness to tackle difficult topics. However, with that responsibility has come overwhelming scrutiny, antagonism, and unfounded accusations that have now begun to affect me personally.”
“In light of recent events, I have made the difficult decision to step away from the podcast. This is not a decision I take lightly, but I believe it is necessary—for my peace of mind, my family, and the integrity of the show itself.”
Nedu said he hoped his exit would put an end to the negativity surrounding his name and allow the podcast to thrive.
In his own video, VeryDarkMan, said Nedu was sacked.
